Pile of Pills
Drugs & Alcohol: About Us

To Write Love on Her Arms

To write love on her arms

To Write Love On Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

The vision is that we actually believe these things:

You were created to love and be loved.
You were meant to live life in relationship with other people, to know and be known.
You need to know your story is important, and you're part of a bigger story.
You need to know your life matters.

We live in a difficult world, a broken world. We believe everyone can relate to pain, all of us live with questions, and all of us get stuck in moments. You need to know you're not alone in the places you feel stuck.

We all wake to the human condition. We wake to mystery and beauty, but also to tragedy and loss. Millions of people live with problems of pain. Millions of homes are filled with questions—moments, and seasons, and cycles that come as thieves and aim to stay. We know pain is very real. It is our privilege to suggest that hope is real and help is real.

Angels at Risk

As a community the issue of drug alcohol abuse in kids, teenagers, and families is an epidemic crisis. We know that early education, prevention, intervention and treatment can change families’ futures forever. Our mission is to raise this awareness.

Currently we have many communities from California to New York asking for our help. Our programs and services are in more demand than ever. The success of our mission is unequivocal. Angels at Risk continues to be a juggernaut against drug and alcohol use and abuse for teenagers and their families by sharing

It is our goal to have a center where all families rich or poor can get help, support and treatment, and other communities who are asking for our help can learn how to implement the Angels at Risk philosophy.

Angels at Risk knows that when the issue of drug and alcohol use is addressed very early on in life, the future of kids, teenagers, and their families can be changed forever.
